Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website leaves in your browser. PLBE gives readers none.

Ours

The only cookie this site sets is a sign-in cookie for the writers' admin pages. Readers never receive it.

Other people's

• Cloudflare, which delivers the site, may set a cookie that helps it tell real visitors from automated traffic.
• Cloudflare Turnstile, the robot check on the contact form, may keep a short-lived token while you fill the form in.
• Affiliate networks and their partners (for example CJ, MaxBounty, and the tutoring, book and accommodation sites behind them) may set a cookie on their own sites when you click a marked partner box, so that a sign-up or purchase is credited to PLBE.

Switching them off

Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies. Everything on PLBE keeps working; partner boxes simply stop being credited to us. The privacy page explains the rest.
